What it Costs

$12.00 per meal package – includes main meal, soup and dessert.

On their own, main meals cost $8.00, soups cost $1.50 and desserts cost $2.50.

For prices for clients on a home care package, please contact our office.

Delivery

Meals are delivered Monday-Friday, after 8:30 am. Meals are delivered either chilled or frozen. We require someone to be home to receive meals, or an accessible fridge to place them in.

Unfortunately, we do not deliver hot meals.

Payment

Payment is typically collected on a Friday, or on the client’s last delivery day of the week.

Payments can be made via cash, cheque or direct debit.

We can invoice clients or nominated payers weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

Availability

We can provide short or long-term delivery of meals.

Frozens

Frozen meals are available throughout the week as chilled meal replacements, or can be ordered on a Friday for the weekend.

Frozen meals can also be ordered for public holidays, as we don’t deliver on public holidays.

Cancellations

Meal cancellations should be advised 3 days prior if possible as meals are ordered in advance, but should be no later than 8.00 am on the day of delivery.

Likes and Dislikes

At Acacia Ridge Meals on Wheels we can provide meals to meet your medical requirements such as gluten free, dairy free, blended/cut up, allergies and diabetes, as well as personal preference.

Opening Hours

Our opening hours are between 7.30am and 12.30pm on weekdays, excluding public holidays.

Preferred method of contact is by phone call to 3275 1860, but emails and walk-ins are also accepted.
